The Outcasts of 19 Schuyler Place by e.l. konigsburg

Finished this wonderful children’s book over the weekend. In fact, I read it in one day! This is e.l. koningsburg’s latest book and it is excellent. She cleverly weaves several characters and themes together throughout the book and then ties it all together at the end. Have I told you this is one of my favorite authors? I first discovered her in about 4th grade when reading From the Mixed-Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler. Back to the book, this story is about Margaret Rose, a girl rescued from summer camp by her eccentric uncles. It is a story of standing up for what you believe in and fighting for it.
