In Memory of my Dad

Since yesterday was Father’s Day I thought I’d post a little something in memory of my dad. My birthday often falls on Father’s Day so a lot of times, we would share the day together. My dad was a wonderful, kind, Christian man. He had a great sense of humor and was tons of fun. We always laughed a lot together. He also was a pillar of strength and grace for those around him at work and at home. He fought his battle with cancer bravely and with honor. My dad was a man of integrity and a man after God’s own heart. He has been gone almost 8 years now. I just can’t believe it has been that long. Sometimes it seems like I just saw him yesterday and sometimes it seems like forever. I am looking forward to seeing him again one of these days! 😉 Oh and one more thing about my dad…this was his favorite scripture: “He has showed you, O man, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.” Micah 6:8
